ABOUT US: The KMC Adoption Support Group is comprised of adoptive parents, prospective adoptive parents, and other adults interested in the support of adoption in our American community overseas.
Our Adoption Support Group is sponsored by the 435TH AW, Ramstein AB, and serves the entire military community through the Chapel Outreach Program. Neither the AF Chapel, nor the Landstuhl American Red Cross (former sponsors) are responsible for the information or ideas of individuals in the group. No U.S. Military or U.S. Government department is placing children for adoption.
Most of the Support Group members are either adopted themselves, have adopted children, are currently in the process of adopting, are contemplating adoption, or are interested in assisting adoption efforts in Europe. Support Group members bring their children, their information, and their personal experiences regarding various aspects of the adoption process to share with others in the group.
Support Group members report that the monthly
meetings "fire them up" and result in much more
productive efforts toward their own adoption-
related work, whether pre or post-adoption.
Children who attend seem to find comfort in
being "just like the other kids who have
been adopted" and not an anomaly.
Please feel free to come and check us
out. We are excited to welcome new
members to the group!

Adoption is family building that occurs through domestic or international adoption; or even family-member adoption.
